April 11 was a beautiful day for the wedding of Jenna Day and Andrew Fulk. They were married at Canterbury United Methodist Church with a gorgeous reception at Clubhouse on Highland.

Bridesmaid's Dinner Styled Shoot

On December 1, 2014 BKwed hosted a Bridesmaid's Dinner Styled Shoot at The Nest. The guests were some of the very talented Birmingham Area Wedding/Events Vendors. It was a fun night filled with food, flowers, friends and laughter. Most Bride's have bridesmaid's luncheons and so we wanted to suggest a Bridesmaid's Dinner as a fun girl's night out. 

Many thanks go to Kristen Hall, owner of The Nest and also known as the Baking Bandit. Kristen opened her beautiful venue to us and also provided the most wonderful pastries for dessert.

Savoie Catering provided the most delicious appetizers and dinner. 

Kelly Cummings of Spindle Photography captured the night with her beautiful photography.

Brittany Sandretto used her talent with hair and make up to make our models even more beautiful. Our models were Sarah Brown, Katelyn Meadows and Paula Coldiron.

Mike Nelson of Aabco Rents provided the beautiful gold flatware for our table settings.

Abby Little of Reflect Visual Arts painted reflections of the event.

Sarah Brown created our beautiful invitations and also the place cards for the table settings.

All florals and table settings were done by BKwedevents.

Rachel and Jay

BKwed was privileged to be a part of another Davis daughter wedding. In November we traveled to Albertville, Alabama for the wedding of Rachel Davis and Jay Sowers. It was a beautiful Fall weekend and the wedding was so pretty and the outdoor, tented reception was fun for all.

Winter Wedding Styled Shoot-Best of Birmingham

August 29th  BKWed had an AMAZING day doing a Winter Wedding Styled Shoot. Brooke's vision became reality as some of the Best of Birmingham came together to make this happen. Paula and Kellen Coldiron of kellenjacobphotography captured the day with the beautiful pictures that we are sharing.

Heidi Elnora was SO GRACIOUS to allow us to use one of her GORGEOUS bridal gowns! And if you have not heard yet, her pilot show of Bride by Design was chosen to film more episodes on TLC! Congratulations to Heidi and her team!

We are so grateful to Bob McKenna for allowing us to "move in" for the day at his BEAUTIFUL venue, Clubhouse on Highlands. Thank you Bob for your hospitality and your encouragement!

The Oh So Talented Brittany Massey did an amazing job on our beautiful models, Katelyn Blair Meadows, Beth Russell, Elizabeth Ann King and Elizabeth Steers. Our bridesmaids wore beautiful gowns provided by our friends at Bella Bridesmaids. Our Groom model was Seth Hand. 

The local businesses that allowed us to use some of their beautiful items for the table settings and mantle decor are Prophouse Birmingham and West Elm Birmingham.

Sarah Brown provided our beautiful calligraphy invitations.

Thanks to Jessica Sheets of Laverneandlucy for the beautiful cake! 

Our models were well adorned with beautiful jewelry brought to us by Misty Blue Phillips and provided by Isbell Jewelers.

Of course, all florals were  by Brooke Kearbey and team.

Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort was the beautiful site for the wedding of Lauren Levant and Austin Fletcher.

The outdoor setting was beautiful and the dinner reception in the ball room was amazing.

Rachel Coffey and Taylor Haynie were the photographers that captured the day with their amazing photographs.

Elizabeth and Steve were married at the beautiful Douglas Manor the weekend of the 4th of July with a firework grand finale at the reception.

Because she is so sweet and kind, Katy and I came to think of Brooke as a friend.  We will always be grateful to her for helping to make this very special day so perfect!"
